As a Project Manager at DIR Holdings LLC, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the execution of projects from inception to completion. Your primary responsibility will be to plan, manage, and finalize projects within strict deadlines while meeting budgetary requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight and evaluation of the project management team to ensure adherence to established management principles.
  • Participate in customer site visits, proposal development, and contract reviews to guarantee a thorough understanding of scope, contractual obligations, and potential risks.
  • Collaborate with the Project Sales Representative to take projects from sales through development and into execution, maintaining open communication throughout the project and documenting any changes affecting job scope, schedule, or budget.
  • Interact with customers, engineers, vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders during the design and planning phase of the project.
  • Work closely with the project team to develop and maintain a comprehensive project schedule, identifying critical path items and anticipating potential issues.
  • Responsible for foreseeing challenges that historically impact project costs and schedules, and developing solutions to overcome these problem areas.
  • Regularly communicate project status, including schedule, financial performance, risk assessment, quality, safety, and other key areas.
  • Coordinate work crews and schedule required equipment.
  • Will be required to travel as needed and work with and manage field leadership.
  • Individuals will be expected to complete ProLift-specific, regulatory, and equipment training through our internal LMS system. They may also be required to complete third-party and customer-specific training for on-site access.

Requirements

  • A working knowledge of engineering plans and specifications, with a basic understanding of machinery, heavy construction, and industrial project flow.
  • Basic math and geometry skills are necessary, along with demonstrated planning and leadership abilities.
  • An understanding of construction contracts, Windows-based software applications, and good time management skills.
  • Some rigging/technical experience is required, with the ability to meet or exceed the essential duties listed.
