CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

  • Respond promptly to requests from guests and collaborate with other departments.
  • Prepare cleaning carts with necessary supplies and transport them to designated areas.
  • Access guest rooms following established protocols to ensure privacy and security.
  • Restock guest amenities and supplies in rooms.
  • Replace soiled linens and towels with fresh items.
  • Thoroughly clean bathrooms.
  • Dispose of trash, soiled linens, and room service items appropriately.
  • Verify that all appliances are functional and present in the room.
  • Organize desk items, furniture, and appliances neatly.
  • Dust, polish, and remove stains from walls and furnishings.
  • Adhere to all company policies regarding safety and security; report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and any incidents; complete required safety training.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance; ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guest needs; assist individuals with disabilities; express gratitude to guests sincerely.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with others.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve common objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards.
  • Lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
  • Perform tasks that require bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
  • Exhibit a strong focus on customer service with a friendly demeanor.
  • Be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Complete other reasonable tasks as assigned by Supervisors.
  • Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as the lobby, hallways, and restrooms, ensuring they are well-stocked with supplies.
  • Document rooms cleaned and track lost and found items, damages, and necessary repairs.
  • Perform cleaning duties and prepare guest rooms to meet our hotel's standards prior to guest arrivals.
  • Conduct mopping, vacuuming, bed-making, laundry, stocking, and other cleaning tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a professional housekeeping role preferred.
  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic with exceptional organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent certification required.
  • Solid understanding of cleaning techniques and products.
