Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a vital member of the healthcare team at Avera St Mary's Hospital. As an LPN, you will work closely with Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide high-quality patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist RNs in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care
  • Carry out responsibilities as delegated by the Unit Supervisor
  • Participate in educational opportunities to maintain current professional clinical competency
  • Complete an approved Hemodialysis treatment course

Requirements

  • Graduate from an approved licensed practical school of nursing with current practical nursing licensure in the State of South Dakota
  • ACLS certification is highly recommended
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required for all patient care staff

Work Schedule and Pay

Day shifts; 80 hours every 2 weeks

The hourly range for this position is $25.25 - $36.50 per hour, dependent on experience.
