Role Overview:

The Cardiac Sonographer is responsible for delivering precise diagnostic imaging services to our patients and their families, demonstrating respect, compassion, and sensitivity to diverse patient needs across all demographics.

Key responsibilities include conducting stress tests and assisting with ECG procedures.

The primary focus of this role is to execute Echocardiograms utilizing M Mode, 2-D Doppler, Color Flow, TEE, and contrast & bubble studies within our IAC accredited Echo laboratory.

The sonographer is expected to possess a thorough understanding of cardiac conditions and procedures, enabling them to educate and guide staff, students, and patients with expertise and accuracy.


Essential Qualifications:
  • Registered (CCI), (RDCS) or eligible for registry.
  • Experience in 2-D, Doppler, color flow, and transesophageal echocardiography.
  • Ability to operate independently and professionally under minimal supervision, demonstrating resourcefulness in urgent situations.
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support.
