Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cardiac Sonographer to perform a variety of patient care, technical, and diagnostic tasks targeted to the care of patients with cardiovascular disease.

Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound imaging, patient preparation, and post-procedure care for patients with cardiovascular disease.
  • Generate high-quality ultrasound images of the heart and/or vascular related structures.
  • Perform advanced cardiac ultrasound studies for patients with complex conditions.
  • Conduct vascular studies and real-time readings/reports in the operating room for invasive and non-invasive vascular procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain equipment calibration and quality assurance monitoring.
  • Participate in staff training and education, and serve as a subject matter expert for Cardiovascular Sonographer students.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Sonography, Radiology, or a related field.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), or registry eligible and become registered within one (1) year from date of hire.
  • One year minimum experience in an acute hospital setting.
