We are seeking a highly skilled Admitting Registrar PRN Specialist to join our team at IASIS Healthcare. As a key member of our OPD REGISTRATION department, you will be responsible for performing admissions/registration and financial procedures, distributing patient education materials, and communicating with patients, physician offices, third parties, and other departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform admissions/registration and financial procedures, ensuring accurate and timely processing of patient information.
  • Distribute patient education materials, promoting health literacy and patient engagement.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physician offices, third parties, and other departments, both verbally and in writing.
  • Perform data entry, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow instructions.
  • Ability to type 35 wpm required.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and work as a team member required.
  • BLS within 90 days.
  • CPI/COAP within 90 days.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six months clerical experience, with patient contact, in a medical setting.
