Job Summary:
National Beef is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at our Kansas City, Kansas facility. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of products throughout our production and packaging areas.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Store products overhead and in designated areas, ensuring accurate inventory management.
- Rotate products on a daily basis to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Participate in regular safety audits and training sessions to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist in other areas of the facility as needed, including production, packaging, and maintenance.
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating a forklift is preferred, with a safe forklift operation history.
- Previous experience in the meat industry is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
