Job Summary:

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at Sutter Health, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality images to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This position requires a strong foundation in radiologic technology, with a focus on mammography procedures. You will work independently, exercising sound judgment and clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures. Your ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers will be essential in gaining confidence and cooperation. Additionally, you will adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations to ensure patient privacy and safety. This role may also involve orienting other staff members to the department and performing specific procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and specialized breast procedures to produce quality images for physicians and healthcare providers.
  • Work independently, exercising sound judgment and clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers to gain confidence and cooperation.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations to ensure patient privacy and safety.
  • May be responsible for orienting other staff members to the department and performing specific procedures.


Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or equivalent education/experience.
  • CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist.
  • RHM-Radiology Mammography.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider.
  • Two years of recent relevant experience.


Work Environment:

This position may regularly work with hazardous drugs, as identified by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). Sutter Health is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates.

Pay Range: $66.01 to $82.50 / hour

Compensation takes into account several factors, including experience, education, skills, licensure, and certifications. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
