District Sales Representative

McKee Foods Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven District Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth in your assigned district through building strong relationships with independent wholesale distributors and retailers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales growth targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities
- Present sales opportunities and results to customers and management
- Act as a liaison between McKee Foods and our customers
- Recruit and appoint quality candidates to distributorships
- Provide orientation and training to new independent wholesale distributors
- Deliver timely and accurate business information to customers
- Communicate and demonstrate best business practices to customers
- Operate and maintain a company sales territory
- Operate and properly maintain a company vehicle
- 1-2 years of post-high school education or equivalent experience
- At least 3 years of retail management or sales experience
- Demonstrated excellence in achieving goals and executing company strategy
- Demonstrated leadership and motivation skills
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple demands
- Experience building strong business relationships
- Demonstrated high level of initiative and self-motivation
- Goal-oriented with experience setting and achieving challenging goals
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with others
- Experience providing customer service in a variety of situations
- Experience analyzing business information and preparing sales presentations
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems and make decisions
- Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritize tasks to maximize results
- Experience working as part of a team and assisting others
- Solid MS Office skills and proficiency with mobile technology applications
- Able and willing to travel extensively within assigned district
- Able and willing to operate a vehicle weighing more than 10,000 pounds
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Able to frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds
- Business-related college degree
- At least 3 years of sales experience in consumer packaged goods and/or DSD
- Experience making sales calls with retailers
- Currently reside in the advertised geographical sales location
- Able to complete a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
- Company sales vehicle provided
