Geisinger's esteemed Nutrition and Weight Management Department invites a highly skilled physician to join our team at the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania.

Role Overview

We seek an Internal Medicine or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics trained physician with expertise in nutrition and/or bariatric medicine to provide high-quality, patient-centered care at our regional referral center in Northeastern Pennsylvania.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of physicians, advanced practitioners, and nutritionists to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients struggling with weight management and related health issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in nutrition and bariatric medicine to ensure evidence-based practice.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree.
  • Board certification in Internal Medicine or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics.
  • Training in nutrition and/or bariatric medicine.
  • Licensure to practice medicine in the State of Pennsylvania.
