Tax Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Professional to join our team at our H&R Block franchise location in AZTEC, New Mexico. As a Tax Professional, you will be responsible for providing expert tax services to our clients, including conducting tax interviews, preparing tax returns, and generating business growth.

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face-to-face and through virtual tools, including video, phone, chat, and email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns, ensuring compliance with IRS regulations.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services to clients.
• Provide clients with IRS support, including audit representation and tax notice services.
• Mentor and support teammates to ensure exceptional client service.

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax, with a focus on individual returns.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with comfort using virtual tools.
• Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone, and in writing.
• High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on continuing education and professional development.
