VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our behavioral health team, you will provide high-quality care to patients with behavioral health and substance use disorders.
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychotherapy and pharmacotherapy to patients with behavioral health and substance use disorders.
- Conduct assessments, screenings, and diagnoses to identify patient needs.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with primary care physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in case conferences and treatment planning for patients receiving behavioral health treatment.
- Provide behavioral health evaluations, assessments, and follow-up care.
- Collaborate with behavioral health staff to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Participate in medical rounds and provide input on patient care.
- Assign tasks to team members as needed.
- Conduct group sessions on behavioral health observation units, including medication compliance groups.
- Maintain all required credentials, including CPR certification.
Requirements:
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, licensed to practice in the state of contract.
- Minimum one year of clinical nursing practice in a behavioral health setting, correctional experience preferred.
- Demonstrate clinical competence and leadership abilities, including decision-making, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
