Job Summary

The Children's Home of Pittsburgh is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing Early Intervention services to children birth to age 3 in Allegheny County and/or Butler County.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing EI services according to the child's Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and will have the opportunity to collaborate with other therapists and medical professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement EI services according to the child's IFSP
  • Collaborate with other therapists and medical professionals
  • Develop and implement treatment plans
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical teams

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • 3-5 years of experience working with pediatric population
  • Early Intervention experience preferred
  • Current Occupational Therapy License in the State of Pennsylvania
  • Current NBCOT certification
  • Ability to develop proficiency in various treatment protocols
  • Interpersonal and communication skills necessary to effectively work with staff and medical teams

Functional Requirements:

  • Ability to perform occupational therapy services for a minimum of 8 hours per day
  • Ability to sustain moderate physical activities
  • Ability to communicate information in a professional and courteous manner
  • Manual dexterity necessary to operate medical equipment

Salary and Benefits:

$50.00 per hour
