Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare the operating room for surgery, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Assist the surgeon and other medical staff during procedures, maintaining a safe and sterile environment.
  • Care for patients and instruments during surgery, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
Requirements
  • Minimum two years of scrub experience or equivalent relevant experience required.
  • Strong cardiovascular, endovascular, and peripheral vascular experience.
  • 4's for cardiovascular, endovascular, and peripheral vascular skills on skills checklist.
  • Transplant experience required.
  • Successfully completed a surgical technologist program or two years of experience in a Surgical Technologist role may be considered in lieu of program completion.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior traveler experience highly preferred.
  • Experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma center or similar size hospital is required.
