We are seeking a compassionate and skilled LPN to join our HomeHealth team in Newark, Wilmington, or Kent/Sussex Delaware. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will provide expert care to medically fragile children and complex adults in the comfort of their own homes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide overnight care, ensuring the patient's safety and comfort while parents and caregivers sleep.
- Administer medications and other prescribed treatments as ordered.
- Coordinate care with the family, the patient's physician, and other healthcare professionals.
- Build positive relationships by serving in a compassionate, responsive, and courteous manner.
- Work overnight and weekends, with flexibility in scheduling.
- Delaware LPN license with one year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferred.
- Associates degree or completion of an accredited LPN education program.
- Work experience in an acute or chronic care facility, or home health agency, preferred.
- Previous Home Healthcare and Long Term Care experience, preferred.
- Ability to attend a two-week daytime orientation in our Camden office, followed by patient-specific field orientation on night shift, and a mandatory weekend per month.
- Tracheostomy and ventilator experience, a plus.
