Position Summary:

This safety-sensitive role involves collaborating with the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager to ensure the upkeep and repair of residential units and common areas. The individual in this position will be tasked with maintaining the aesthetic and functional aspects of the community, including both interior and exterior surfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Community Maintenance: Uphold the visual appeal and safety of the community by performing necessary repairs and maintenance. This includes drywall repairs and painting of common areas such as hallways, doors, and railings.
  • Unit Preparation: Assist in preparing vacant apartments to meet market-ready standards, ensuring compliance with company guidelines.
  • Resident Satisfaction: Strive to meet and exceed resident expectations by maintaining high standards of service and being available for on-call emergencies as directed by the Community Manager.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks as required to support community operations.

Essential Skills and Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a state of constant alertness and safety.
  • Strong cognitive skills to perform tasks requiring judgment and quick decision-making.
  • Physical capability to lift, push, and pull up to 100 pounds.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Minimum of one year of full-time painting experience.

Driving Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and a clean motor vehicle record.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to maintain insurance coverage.

Candidates must successfully complete a background check, drug screening, and physical demand analysis as part of the hiring process.
