Chemical Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Analyst to join our team at Nesco Resource. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and processes.

• Collect and analyze raw material samples, in-process samples, and final product samples to ensure they meet internal and external customer specifications.
• Validate and approve raw material shipments and analyze customer samples.
• Monitor process conditions and variables using data historian tools and make recommendations for process adjustments.
• Communicate and provide analytical support to all levels of the organization.
• Operate, maintain, validate, and calibrate bench-top and in-line instruments.
• Data analysis, interpretation, and reporting using LIMS and SAP.
• Troubleshoot process upsets and manage resources to resolve them.
• Train new employees on Quality Assurance systems, analytical methods, and instruments.

Over the next 1-3 years, we expect the successful candidate to learn and understand the operation of production at our Blair site, understand the impact of analytical results on site operations, learn the operational principles of QA lab instruments, and develop skills in troubleshooting, minor repairs, preventative maintenance, and calibration of QA laboratory instruments.
