About the Role

We are looking for a Heavy Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and heavy equipment.

The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose mechanical issues effectively.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year based on location and experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and heavy equipment.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues using automotive diagnostics tools and schematics.
  • Conduct light repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used.
  • Operate heavy equipment safely while performing repairs or maintenance tasks.
Requirements
  • Proficient in automotive repair techniques, particularly for diesel engines.
  • Strong understanding of schematics related to diesel mechanics and equipment repair.
  • Experience with fluid exchanges and maintenance services, tire inspections/rotations, installations, and bulb replacements.
  • Knowledgeable in the operation of various types of heavy equipment.
  • Familiarity with diesel fleet and preventative maintenance practices is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
