As an In-Home Aide and Companion, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients, helping them to live a healthy, happy, and safe life at home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Companionship and Social Interaction: Engage with clients in activities such as walks, visits, and conversations to promote socialization and emotional well-being.
  • Assistance with Daily Tasks: Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), such as shopping, transportation, and light housekeeping.
  • Communication and Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, including changes in condition, and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.
  • Confidentiality and HIPAA Compliance: Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations in all interactions with clients and their personal information.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, with previous experience in home care, home health, geriatrics, or long-term care preferred.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Active CPR certification is a plus, but not required.
  • Travel and Transportation: Ability to travel frequently, with an active, unencumbered driver's license.
Compensation and Benefits

Givens Communities offers a competitive hourly rate of $17.00-$18.00 per hour, based on experience, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth.
