Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Collector to join our team at Synectics. As a Medical Collector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality patient care by collecting and processing blood specimens for laboratory testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect blood specimens from patients in a safe and accurate manner.
  • Prepare specimens for laboratory testing while following established procedures.
  • Interact with patients to explain procedures and create a positive experience.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
  • Ability to make decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment.
  • Superior customer focus and ability to communicate openly with patients and peers.
  • Three years of phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Medical training or certification preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment.
  • Customer service experience in a retail or service environment.
Work Schedule

Monday through Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Friday: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
