Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technician to join our Faculty Group Practice at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures for our GYN practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interact with patients in a professional and respectful manner, verifying their identity and explaining the procedure and equipment to be used.
  • Navigate and perform advanced scans using appropriate equipment, utilizing highly technical skills to produce high-quality images.
  • Write detailed reports based on scan completion, documenting procedures according to departmental guidelines and maintaining accurate records.
Requirements
  • Registered as an American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS)
  • Experience in specialty capacity required
  • Completion of an approved ultrasound technology educational program
Preferred Qualifications
  • RDMS (OBGYN) and Nuchal Translucency certification
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • College graduate preferred
