Housekeeping Technician Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Housekeeping Technician to join our team at INcompass Healthcare. As a Housekeeping Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, sanitary, and orderly environment within our facility. This position requires a combination of technical skills and traditional housekeeping duties to ensure a safe and comfortable atmosphere for residents, guests, or staff. Key Responsibilities * Perform routine and specialized cleaning tasks to maintain a high standard of cleanliness in various areas of the facility. * Utilize appropriate cleaning equipment, tools, and chemicals to achieve optimal results. * Implement and adhere to infection control protocols to prevent the spread of germs and maintain a hygienic environment. * Follow established procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials. * Collect and dispose of waste and recyclables according to established procedures. * Monitor waste receptacles and replace liners as needed. * Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, notifying supervisors when replenishment is required. * Ensure that cleaning materials are stored safely and securely. * Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to achieve collective cleanliness goals. * Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding any maintenance or cleanliness issues. Requirements * High school diploma or equivalent. * Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred. * Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and infection control practices. * Ability to operate technical cleaning equipment. * Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects. * Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. * Time management and organizational skills. * Strong communication and teamwork.
