As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care to individuals who have undergone complex cardiac surgeries and require intensive monitoring and treatment.
Responsibilities- Assess and admit patients to the Cardiovascular ICU, conducting regular checks and administering medications as needed.
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Oversee the overall care of patients, including managing hemodynamic monitoring, mechanical ventilation, and multiple drug infusions.
- Participate in our comprehensive 12-week Transition to Practice program, designed to equip you with the skills and confidence needed to excel in critical care nursing.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- 1 year of Intermediate - Stepdown level of care with cardiac knowledge, 2 years of Medical/Surgical experience, ED, or PCU.
- Diploma RN, associate degree RN, bachelor's degree RN, or master's degree RN.
- Virginia RN License or Compact/Multi-State Eligible.
