Role OverviewThis is an amazing opportunity to work as an Assembly and Test Mechanic in our GTF MRO Commercial Engine Center. The position involves working on a 2nd shift, Monday-Friday from 3:30pm to midnight, with a 10% shift differential.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform functional checks on engine assembly/components or test equipment/test components using a variety of power and mechanical tools.
- Acquire tools and hardware as required to perform assembly and test procedures.
- Monitor instrumentation and perform engine service during test under the direction of supervision or delegate.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- 2+ years of formal training in power-plant mechanics and testing.
- U.S. citizenship required.
You will gain skills, systems, and processes critical to aerospace manufacturing within a state-of-the-art facility. You will also interpret and apply technical data to aid in the disassembly and assembly of commercial jet engines.
