Job Summary

Burke County Public Schools is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying students with speech-language impairments, evaluating and diagnosing communications skills, and implementing speech and language objectives on individualized education programs.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology, a Georgia Service Certificate (SS) in Speech Language Pathology with Clinical Competency Certification, and experience in diagnostic assessment and transitional programming. They will also possess strong knowledge of Special Education programs, curriculum, data collection, and behavior management.

The Speech Language Pathologist will participate in student staffing, provide consultative and collaborative services to teachers, parents, and administrators, and evaluate and report student progress. They will also investigate and use new strategies for delivering student services, participate in school SST meetings, and maintain student files.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist to make a positive impact on the lives of students in Burke County Public Schools.
