Compounding Pharmacy Technician

We are an independent retail community pharmacy seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This is a full-time position with a competitive starting salary of $17.00 per hour.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will support pharmacological services by stocking, assembling, and distributing medications. They will also maintain a safe and clean pharmacy environment, adhere to infection-control policies, and assist healthcare providers and patients in a professional manner.

The ideal candidate will have excellent math skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience in a pharmacy or similar setting is preferred, but not required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Pharmacological Services: Stocking, assembling, and distributing medications
  • Maintain Safe Environment: Comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Assist Healthcare Providers: Greet customers, answer questions, and refer inquiries to the pharmacist
Requirements:
  • Education: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Experience: Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
