Responsibilities
$10,000 SIGN ON BONUS OPPORTUNITY
The Registered Nurse is accountable for delivering safe patient care by utilizing the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role involves providing direct patient care within the defined scope of practice. The Registered Nurse also guides and instructs patient/family education and oversees the activities of other nursing staff while upholding care standards within the Medical/Surgical Unit. The Registered Nurse holds direct responsibility for the care provided to assigned patients and communicates effectively with physicians regarding any changes in the patient's clinical status, including cardiac monitoring, diagnostic study results, and symptomatology. This position requires the ability to respond swiftly and accurately to changes in patient condition and treatment responses.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS certification upon hire and maintenance of certification.
- Current ACLS certification within 30 days of hire and maintenance of certification is preferred.
- Previous experience in an Acute Care hospital setting is preferred.
- Experience in Ventilator Management is preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
