As an Occupational Therapist with the Kingman Unified School District #20, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing therapeutic programs for students in need. This is a full-time, exempt position that requires a Master's degree or more advanced degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students eligible for occupational therapy services.
Provide direct service to students as indicated on specific IEPs, including homebound services as needed.
Evaluate students, interpret assessment findings, and communicate effectively with parents and school teams.
Consult with school staff, parents, and agencies regarding student needs, progress, and instructional modifications.
Maintain accurate records of student services, administrative tasks, and other departmental responsibilities in accordance with district, state, and federal policies.
Requirements
Master's degree or more advanced degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
Licensure through the Arizona Board of Occupational Therapy.
Ability to pass a criminal background check and obtain a Fingerprint Clearance Card with an IVP number through the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
Working Conditions
This position operates at school sites and requires regular mobility, sitting, and use of standard office equipment. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds is also necessary.
