We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Trinity Health Michigan. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment. Your primary goal will be to produce high-quality images that aid in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.

• Review patient charts and requisitions to determine the appropriate diagnostic imaging procedure.
• Position patients on the scanning table and adjust the equipment to ensure accurate and safe imaging.
• Administer contrast media as required for specific diagnostic protocols.
• Monitor patient condition before, during, and after procedures, recognizing changes that may require further action.
• Operate MRI equipment and accessories, demonstrating knowledge of techniques, procedures, and protocols.
• Screen patients for safety when receiving IV contrast and identify and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure accurate and effective imaging procedures.

• Completion of an accredited MRI Technologist program.
• Advanced certification in MRI by ARRT or ARMRIT, or MRI Registry-eligible with certification within one year of hire.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• One year of MRI experience preferred.
• Good working knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and proficiency in venipuncture.

The MRI Technologist will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent exposure to magnetic fields and other medical equipment. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential. The successful candidate will be required to maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
