Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Team Supervisor to lead our restaurant operations and drive exceptional customer service. This is a dynamic role that requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

As a Team Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring that all safety and quality standards are met, and coaching team members to deliver exceptional service. You will also be responsible for resolving conflicts, conducting zone walks, reviewing deployment charts, and executing back-of-house shift change procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safety and quality standards are consistently met.
  • Verify that team members are adhering to standards, including handwashing and food safety protocols.
  • Complete regular food safety checklists and coach team members on proper procedures.
  • Cascade knowledge and best practices to team members.
  • Hold team members accountable for tasks and ensure efficient execution of responsibilities.
  • Conduct zone walks to assess task completion and provide feedback.
  • Review deployment charts to optimize team member placement.
  • Execute back-of-house shift change procedures to maintain seamless service.
  • Assess each zone to identify areas for improvement.
  • Plan and assign breaks for team members to ensure productivity and well-being.
  • Post daily goals and utilize the SWS form to track progress.
  • Maintain clean dishes and back-of-house areas to ensure a positive dining experience.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 1+ years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment with profit & loss accountability, schedule writing, and team member development.
  • Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide team members.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Knowledge of safety and quality standards in the food industry.
  • Ability to complete food safety checklists and verify adherence to standards.
  • Strong organizational skills to execute shift changes and zone assessments efficiently.
  • Ability to review deployment charts and plan team member breaks effectively.

Physical Demands:

This role requires:

  • Withstand temperatures of 0 degrees Fahrenheit or less and 100 degrees Fahrenheit or more.
  • Move throughout the restaurant for extended periods (up to 10-12 hours per day).
  • Move 50 lbs. for distances of up to 10 feet.
  • Balance and move up to 25 lbs. for distances of up to 50 feet.
  • Understand and respond to team members' and guests' requests in a loud environment.
  • Stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Talk or hear; taste or smell.
  • Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Salary Estimate: The estimated annual salary for this position is around $62,000-$80,000 based on industry standards and location.
