Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente's Tysons Corner Medical Center. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mammography services to our patients.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Provide 32 hours of availability monthly, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ensure effective interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with patients.
  • Stand, walk, bend, hear, speak, and see as required for the job.
  • Proficiency in the use of applicable computer software.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Experience in mammography technology.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) education required.
  • Specialized training in mammographic technology required.
License, Certification, Registration:
  • Radiologic Technologist License (Virginia).
  • Basic Life Support.
  • Radiologic Technologist Certification.
Additional Requirements:

In order to work effectively with patients, you must have effective interpersonal and communication skills and be able to stand, walk, bend, hear, speak, and see.

Proficiency in the use of applicable computer software.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification as a mammographic technologist with the ARRT preferred.
Work Environment:

This is a standard, full-time position with a regular schedule. The employee group/union affiliation is M40 OPEIU Local 2.
