Position Overview

The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) is dedicated to delivering exceptional integrated healthcare services to over 800,000 members across Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. We are currently seeking a full-time specialist in Orthopedic Surgery to join our esteemed medical team.

In partnership with the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Mid-Atlantic States, we emphasize high-quality, patient-focused healthcare. Our physicians benefit from an innovative healthcare delivery model, equipped with advanced technological resources and comprehensive practice support.

As salaried physicians, MAPMG members are free from the pressures associated with alternative payment structures or fee-for-service models. Our members enjoy seamless access to specialists and medical records, enabling a holistic approach to patient care.

Essential Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree
  • Board Certified or Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia
  • Completion of a Sports Medicine Fellowship

The starting annual salary for this role is $545,000, reflecting the applicant's skills, qualifications, relevant degrees, certifications, training, market data, and other pertinent factors. Additionally, MAPMG provides a rich benefits package that significantly enhances the overall compensation.
