We are seeking a skilled Production Assembler to join our team at Phoenix Contact GmbH & Co. in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing small parts assembly of components and associated hardware, ensuring the quality of your work and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Perform hand assembly of components, including labeling and boxing, with attention to detail and quality.
- Operate contact small assembly machines, such as insertion and crimping equipment, with precision and efficiency.
- Perform final assembly, electrical testing, and packaging of various assemblies, adhering to company standards and procedures.
- Screen and separate various parts, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
- Record assembly time data and complete all associated routing, quality inspections, and other related forms, maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Perform miscellaneous assigned tasks and assist in other production areas as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum of three to five years of experience in hand assembling small parts preferred.
- Electronic assembly experience a plus; strong organizational skills and ability to read and comprehend English written production documents essential.
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes required.
- Ability to sit or stand for at least 4 hours, lift or move containers weighing up to 50 pounds, and use pallet jack, portable staircase, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
