Job Description:

Dewberry is seeking a highly skilled Part Time Design Technician to join our Leesburg office and participate on Infrastructure and Facilities Design Teams. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with engineers, project managers, and other professionals to deliver high-quality design and plan set preparation for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, organize, enforce, and maintain project CADD standards and filing systems
  • Establish drawing and design standards based on client CADD standards and/or Dewberry standards
  • Coordinate with other team members including engineers, managers, and administrative staff
  • Work as a member of a project design team or several project design teams

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience with emphasis in infrastructure and facilities projects
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit or MicroStation
  • Willingness to assist with a wide range of tasks and work with multiple project managers
  • Collaborative spirit and strong desire to learn and help others
  • High attention to detail, good organizational and time management skills
