About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Riser Engineer to join our team at tsu. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing deepwater riser engineering expertise and leading the design and analysis of complex riser systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement deepwater riser engineering solutions that meet or exceed client expectations
  • Lead the design and analysis of complex riser systems, including steel catenary risers, steel lazy wave risers, free standing hybrid risers, top tension risers, drilling risers, flexible risers, and umbilical
  • Prepare detailed calculations and reports for deepwater riser engineering work, including riser wall thickness calculation, riser cathodic protection design, riser strength analysis, riser fatigue analysis, and riser interference analysis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in deepwater riser engineering
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Civil, Structural, or Ocean Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience in deepwater riser engineering, with a strong background in design and analysis
  • Proficiency in Abaqus finite-element software and experience with OrcaFlex and Shear7 software
  • Strong knowledge of offshore production platforms, wave dynamics, and various deepwater riser systems
  • Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills
