Quality Control Specialist

The primary focus of this role will be to support drug product lot release and in-process testing within a controlled environment.
Responsibilities:- Support lot release and in-process testing in a cGMP environment
- Assist in assay transfer and method validation
- Maintain instruments and equipment
- Investigate deviations, CAPAs, and laboratory investigations
- BS in a scientific discipline (microbiology preferred)
- 0-3 years of regulated industry experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong analytical skills and computer proficiency
- Experience working in a GMP environment (preferred)
This is a contract position with a duration of 52 weeks. The employee will work in a high-paced team environment, with a 100% onsite schedule. The work environment includes standing, walking, sitting, bending, and stretching, with the ability to make and respond to audible cues and warnings.
The employee will work in areas with strong magnets and exposure to vapor phase liquid nitrogen. Personal protective equipment (PPE) and clean room garments will be required daily. The employee will work in and around laboratories and controlled enclosed restricted areas, including clean rooms, and will be required to carry and/or lift up to 10 pounds several times a day.
