About the Role

Serenity Hospice is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Admissions RN to join their team in Salem, OR. As a key member of the hospice care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Perform pre-admission evaluations to assess the appropriateness of hospice services.
  • Initiate the admission process by educating patients and families about Serenity Hospice's services and benefits.
  • Obtain informed consent from patients and families.
  • Provide nursing assessments, develop initial plans of care, and implement interventions to optimize patient comfort and quality of life.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program.
  • Licensed as a registered nurse in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • 1 year of hospice experience preferred.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and work effectively in a team environment.
