About the Role

This part-time position is perfect for those looking for a flexible schedule. You'll work 48 hours per pay period, with alternating weekends and holidays. As a Nursing Assistant, you'll work under the direct supervision of the RN and general supervision of the Clinical Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse and Director of Nursing.

Responsibilities

As a Nursing Assistant, you'll perform both patient direct and indirect activities, contributing to the organization of the unit. Your duties will include:
  • Providing exceptional patient care and support
  • Assisting with patient transfers and mobility
  • Performing vital signs and other basic assessments
  • Assisting with medication administration and documentation
  • Participating in unit activities and meetings

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:
  • A current Certified Nursing Assistant certification through the State of Illinois
  • A current CPR certification through the American Heart Association (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
  • A High School diploma
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
