About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Residential Plumbing Technician to join our team at Ace Hardware Home Services.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for completing plumbing, drain cleaning and other related in-home service calls. This includes building and establishing customer rapport, educating and assisting customers on their home, finance options and maintenance plans, providing technical support to customers and understanding sales criteria to exceed revenue goals.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, valid driver's license, and high standards for work excellence and integrity. Physical requirements include physical dexterity, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Complete plumbing, drain cleaning and other related in-home service calls
  • Build and establish customer rapport to ensure great service
  • Educate and assist customers on their home, finance options, and maintenance plans
  • Provide technical support to customers
  • Understand sales criteria and hold oneself accountable for exceeding revenue goals
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, identify and repair residential plumbing tasks
  • Maintain a clean, organized job site and well-inventoried truck
  • Provide exceptional customer service
Requirements
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in plumbing or related field
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Valid driver's license
  • High standards for work excellence and integrity
  • A growth-mindset and desire to get better every day
  • Ability to hustle and thrive under pressure
