Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver direct nursing care to patients of all ages in a community-based health clinic.
  • Prepare patients for medical evaluations by collecting medical histories, conducting health screenings, and performing necessary lab tests.
  • Administer health education and conduct thorough health assessments.
  • Triage medical concerns, assist with medication management, and provide nursing consultations.
  • Supervise and support medical assistants, student nurses, and clinic personnel.
  • Engage in team meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and additional responsibilities as required.
  • Flexibility to provide coverage at various clinic locations as needed.
  • Fulfill other assigned duties to support clinic operations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution.
  • Active California Registered Nurse License.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from a recognized provider.
  • Proven expertise in patient care delivery and primary nursing practices.
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments of historical, physical, and behavioral health.
  • Strong collaborative skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Familiarity with child abuse reporting regulations.
