**Job Summary**

We are seeking experienced local truck drivers to join our team at Empire National Inc. as independent contractors.

Estimated Salary: $1,300 - $1,800 per week (minimum), plus bonuses and sign-on incentives.

Job Description: As a local truck driver with Empire National Inc., you will be responsible for delivering goods to various locations within the region. Your primary duties will include:

  • Operating a dry van or reefer trailer on a local route
  • Performing routine vehicle inspections to ensure they are in good working condition
  • Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and log books
  • Communicating with dispatchers or supervisors to report any issues or delays in delivery

Requirements: To qualify for this position, you must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and a clean driving record. Additionally, you should have prior experience with electronic equipment and software, such as GPS and ELD units, and be able to utilize full hours of service. You should also be at least 23 years old and have acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Prior experience as an independent contractor is preferred.
