Job Description
The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) seeks a Secure Facilities Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of fully operational, secure facilities. This role will require strong project management skills, experience working in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
* Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of secure facilities.
* Manage project teams, including identifying resource needs, establishing project timelines, and monitoring progress against project milestones.
* Collaborate with APL stakeholders, including department leadership, to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
* Develop and present project updates, status reports, and recommendations to senior leaders.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to secure facilities.

Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Business Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or other relevant field.
* 4+ years of experience in project management within a DoD, business, or R&D environment.
* Experience in providing oversight of project elements such as risk management, operational tasks, security, and facility considerations.
* Advanced presentation skills, including experience presenting to and incorporating feedback from senior-level stakeholders.
* Ability to work with a broad range of staff and skillsets to establish project needs and delivery timelines and identify resource availability to ensure the most efficient path to project completion.
* Strong written and oral communication skills, with a proven ability to develop and deliver briefings to executive leadership.
* Proficiency in project management scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project and/or Primavera.
* Proficiency in PowerPoint, Visio, Word, Outlook, and Excel.
* Interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills, and analytical skills.
* Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities from varying stakeholders in a demanding environment.
* Active Top Secret level security clearance and ability to obtain a TS/SCI level security clearance.
