Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team at Southern Services. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various structures and fixtures. Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate installation and repair work.
  • Assist supervisors with structural design, planning, and layout.
  • Conduct repair work and installation of doors, windows, drywall, cabinets, stairs, and other fixtures as required.
  • Assess the quality of woodwork and materials to ensure compliance with local building codes and health and safety regulations.
  • Operate tools, machines, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience for our clients.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy objects and equipment.
