Delivery Driver

Westlake Ace Hardware is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our Commercial Fulfillment Center, you will be responsible for delivering quality products and exceptional customer service to our business customers.

• Partner with the Commercial Fulfillment Center Specialist and Commercial Operations Manager to execute regular on-time delivery of product to support Commercial Customers.
• Handle all aspects of product delivery to business customers, including picking up or receiving, pulling, packing, and loading products.
• Engage with customers at their place of business to identify customer needs and selling opportunities, and pass along relevant information to the assigned Account Manager or Business Development Manager.
• Occasionally assist with delivery of retail products to regular store retail operations, ensuring that commercial deliveries and sales to commercial customers are not impacted.
• Recommend product stocking or special order needs to the Commercial Fulfillment Center Specialist and assigned BDM.
• Observe and obey all traffic laws and operate safely and efficiently while operating any and all Westlake Ace equipment.

• High School or GED equivalent required.
• Refined interpersonal skills to engage with others, solid negotiating and conflict resolutions abilities.
• Able to foster teamwork and collaboration and motivate others both internal and external to perform enthusiastically.
• Excellent PC skills, including skilled knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as various MS Operating Systems.
• Ability to work independently and flexibly.
• Ability to safely operate vans, trucks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment.
• Standing, walking, lifting (50lbs or more), and climbing.

$17.00 per hour
