Assemblage Specialist

**About the Role:** We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team at Aerotek. In this position, you will play a vital role in building and assembling various mechanical components, including structural assemblies, mechanical drives, and fluid control systems.

**Responsibilities:** As a Mechanical Assembler, your key responsibilities will include:

• Using machine drawings, assembly drawings, control schematics, and relevant bills of materials to build mechanical components according to specifications.
• Engaging in the reduction and/or elimination of non-value-added work throughout the organization.
• Utilizing hand tools proficiently in performing tasks such as structural assembly, mechanical drive assembly, fluid control assembly, guard and cover assembly, mechanical assembly, and simple electrical assembly.
• Completing quality assurance checks for Blue Books.
• Providing accurate documentation including labor reporting, material issue/returns, material moves, and material scrap reports.
• Executing inventory re-ordering policies, including Kanban.
• Preparing equipment for shipment, including machine teardown.

**Requirements:** To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. This is a Contract-to-Hire position with an estimated salary of $62,500 per annum based on location.
