We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Barista to join our team at AEG. As a Barista, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and providing top-notch service in our gourmet coffee shop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide prompt and friendly service to all guests, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
  • Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of gourmet coffee drinks, including drip coffee, espresso-based beverages, and specialty drinks.
  • Food Service: Serve prepared food items, such as pastries, sandwiches, and muffins, to guests.
  • Bar Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including the coffee station, pastry case, and surrounding areas.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels of coffee, syrups, and other supplies.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service and a positive customer experience.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Experience: Basic knowledge of food and beverage service operational procedures, acquired through at least 6 months of previous similar experience.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service and communication skills, flexibility with scheduling, and ability to multitask.
Working Environment

This role requires standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception, color vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision.
