Automotive Refinisher

The primary responsibility of the Automotive Detailer is to meticulously clean and restore new and used vehicles to meet customer specifications.

• Exterior and interior vehicle cleaning, including windows and door jams
• Application of wax and polishing to auto body surfaces
• Vacuuming interior surfaces to remove loose dirt and debris
• Cleaning upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents and devices
• Application of revitalizers and preservation agents to interior vinyl or leather surfaces and treatment of fabrics with spot and stain resistant chemicals
• Cleaning engine and engine compartment using steam cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents
• Removal of foreign materials using specialized cleaners and following product manufacturer's recommendations
• Inspection of vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and poor mechanical operation
• Restoration of appearance of engine area, rugs, and upholstery, and painted surfaces
• Application of dressing on tires and tire wells
• Use of PACE VIN Order System
• Understanding and delivering to the specific requirements of the customer
• Coordinating work with team members
• Keeping work area neat and clean
• Proper use of eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protection
• Safe operation of all tools and equipment
• Reporting any safety issues immediately to management
• Performing other tasks and duties as assigned

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred
• Valid driver's license
• 1 year of automotive detail experience preferred
• Professional interpersonal and communication skills necessary for interacting with employees, vendors, and customers
