Job Overview

DOCS Health is seeking a highly skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. As a key member of our dental practice, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the overall success of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, including cleanings, exams, and education.
  • Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in daily team huddles and weekly hygiene meetings to stay informed and aligned with team goals.
  • Identify and address oral health issues, including gingivitis, caries, and periodontal disease.
  • Apply fluorides and other cavity-preventing agents to promote patient oral health.
  • Chart patient conditions and develop treatment plans in collaboration with dentists.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, providing clear education and support to promote oral health.
  • Record treatment information and maintain accurate patient records.
Requirements
  • Current Registered State Dental Hygienist License
  • At least 1-2 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist
  • X-Ray Certification
  • CPR/BLS Certification
  • Ability to obtain a Real ID prior to starting
  • Dentrix knowledge preferred, with training provided
  • Extensive knowledge of HIPAA regulations
