Job Summary

The Server is a key member of the Hard Rock Cafe team, responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring seamless service delivery. As a Server, you will be the face of the brand, providing top-notch service, and creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Take guests orders, run food, handle cash and other forms of payment, and make proficient sales transactions using a point-of-sale system.
  • Food and Beverage Knowledge: Demonstrate impeccable product knowledge, suggestive selling, and answer questions accurately and politely.
  • Station Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized station, including pre-bussing and table maintenance.
  • Opening and Closing Duties: Perform opening, closing, and side duties, including setting up and breaking down the station, refilling condiments, and cleaning ashtrays.
  • Teamwork: Direct guests to areas and restrooms, and create memorable experiences by entertaining guests and creating Raving Fans.
Qualifications
  • Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience in the food and beverage industry, preferably in a high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Certifications: Food safety and sanitation certification, and any other certifications required by law or company policy.
Physical Demands
  • Mobility: Ability to move throughout the corporate office and cafes during visits, standing, walking, kneeling, bending, and sitting for extended periods.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, push, pull, balance, and carry objects up to 10 pounds.
  • Sensory Requirements: Ability to express or exchange ideas verbally and perceive sound by ear, and manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work with hands above shoulders.
Additional Requirements
  • Age: Must be at least 19 years old, and meet the minimum age requirement to serve food and alcohol in the state where the cafe is located.
  • Appearance: Maintain a well-groomed appearance, following all uniform guidelines and practicing general safety standards.
