We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Clinical Data Systems to join our team at AbbVie. This is a key leadership role that will play a critical part in driving the success of our Data Science team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage multiple Therapeutic Areas (TAs) and lead cross-functional initiatives to drive business value from clinical trials data.
- Oversee technology evaluations and implementations to improve performance and reduce costs.
- Create and sustain a high-performing team environment that attracts, develops, and retains top talent.
- Practice continuous improvement of processes and technology usage to drive business outcomes.
- Act as a subject matter expert and process owner, providing strategic direction and guidance to staff.
- Supervise and allocate internal and external resources within the Therapeutic Area, ensuring all performance assessment responsibilities are achieved for direct reports.
- Provide training and feedback, resolve personnel issues, and manage talent retention for assigned staff.
- Manage cross-functional initiatives and provide strategic direction, advice, and guidance to staff on operations responsibilities and activities.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Proven leadership experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of driving business outcomes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
